We were also pleased to find an excellent write-up in le journal Le tour. You can check it out HERE

The Angelina Hunter Trio returns with a new single “Sunday Morning”, available now on all streaming platforms. Fresh from their 2024 nomination for New Artist/Group of the Year at the Maple Blues Awards, the band immediately dove back into the studio to create this latest single. Described as intensely raw and intimate, “Sunday Morning” is a deeply soulful track that highlights the essence of Angelina’s soaring voice and guitar.

This song is meant to capture the feeling of being trapped in the same situations over and over again.  Every Sunday we wake up to read the same headlines and still nothing is being done to change the outcome. You know what they say… a fool repeats the same behavior and expects a different result…. And so I ask: Is this what we call love?  It seems more push than there’s shove, mistakes we’re making…again and again.” – Angelina Hunter

The eclectic but powerful blues-based trio is a real melting pot of influences and many years of perfecting musical and stage craft have seen them win over audiences with their contemporary take on the blues throughout Canada. With multiple releases on the way, be sure to listen to the latest from the Angelina Hunter Trio and catch them live at a festival near you.
